Emerging Technology
We build production systems with technologies others are still evaluating. From geospatial intelligence platforms to serverless edge computing, we ship what matters at the scale that matters.
We Ship Before the Hype Cycle Peaks
Most companies adopt new technologies after they become safe bets. We build production systems with them while the rest of the industry is still running proofs of concept. That head start compounds — our clients operate on infrastructure their competitors cannot replicate for years.
Our engineering teams have deployed real-time satellite data pipelines for government agencies, built WebGL-powered map interfaces that render terabytes of geospatial data in the browser, and architected serverless edge systems that process requests in milliseconds across continents.
What We Work With
- Geospatial Intelligence — Vector tile pipelines, PMTiles, Overture Maps data processing, and MapLibre-based visualization platforms that handle planetary-scale datasets
- AI and Machine Learning — Purpose-built inference pipelines for document processing, satellite image classification, and real-time anomaly detection — not generic chatbot wrappers
- Edge Computing — Cloudflare Workers, R2 storage, and distributed caching architectures that eliminate cold starts and serve data from the nearest edge node
- Modern Rendering — WebGL and WebGPU applications for 3D terrain visualization, real-time map styling, and data-dense dashboards that stay responsive at scale
Our Approach
We do not chase trends. Every technology choice is tested against three questions: does it reduce latency, does it lower operational cost, and can our client's team maintain it after we hand it over?
We have processed over 200 gigabytes of vector tile data from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps sources into production-ready formats. We have built tile servers in Rust that outperform established Java-based alternatives. We write the benchmarks, run them publicly, and stand behind the numbers.
The Difference
The gap between a demo and a production system is where most technology bets fail. We close that gap. Our Emerging Technology practice exists because shipping matters more than experimenting, and our clients need partners who treat new technology with the same discipline they expect from proven infrastructure.
